Say your current location with friends by opening maps and tapping the dot that shows your location.
Choose share location Change the time period using the plus and minus icons and select contacts to share with.
Maps now automatically translates reviews to the default language on your phone.
Bring up a business or a place listing and if it was originally in another language it will say, translated by Google.
Remember where you parked the car by tapping on the blue dot then set as parking location.
Android users can also add notes, and set a timer to make sure you don't overstay the meter.
Select the parking label that appears, and you can add photos to easily find your way back to the spot.
Make sure you keep the Google maps app updated, so you get all the new features.
