Sprint PCS unveils phone for shutterbugs
Sprint PCS on Wednesday unveiled a new phone that will take photos when attached to a camera. The Samsung N400 phone, $200, will connect to a camera made by InfoHand, which Sprint PCS already sells for $60. This is the company's second phone with picture-taking capabilities. Also on Wednesday, the carrier announced a new service that lets shutterbugs store photos on Web sites accessible by phones and personal computers. The service is based on software from Santa Cruz, Calif.-based LightSurf Technologies.
AT&T Wireless sells a camera phone and similar services. Cingular Wireless is expected to debut camera phones in the next few weeks.
