Sony Xperia S tested: Lovely screen, sweet camera

We managed to score our own Sony Xperia S handset and can say its screen, speed, and camera are truly impressive.

Everyone is talking about Sony's hot, new Xperia S smartphone. That's because this Android handset not only pushes the design envelope with a wildly styled exterior, it also boasts an HD screen and 12-megapixel camera.

Though the Xperia S is only available in Europe at the moment, our CNET colleagues in the U.K. were able to scoop one up and put it through its paces. As you can imagine, the phone's screen is gorgeous to behold and its high-resolution camera takes excellent stills and HD video.
