Short Take: WirelessKnowledge names CFO

WirelessKnowledge, the wireless data communications joint venture between Microsoft and Qualcomm, named Peter Price as its chief financial officer. Price previously served as CFO for Packet Engines, a gigabit routing switch maker, which was acquired last year by Alcatel. He also worked as a controller for Microsoft for two years until 1996.
