Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C702 and C902, and Z770
Sony Ericsson has added to its Mobile World Congress line-up with two new Cyber-shot camera phones, the C902 and C702, and the Internet-surfing Z770
Sony Ericsson has rounded out its the Mobile World Congress line-up with two new Cyber-shot models, the C902 and C702, and the Internet-friendly Z770. First up is the Cyber-shot C902, a 5-megapixel camera phone. Camera-style features include face detection, for identifying faces in the frame and adjusting focus and exposure accordingly, and auto focus. It also packs a flash and accelerometer.
The BestPic feature takes nine photos in quick succession, allowing you to capture action and then select the shots you want to keep. Images can then be displayed in a slideshow with music and transitions. Sony Ericsson claims you'll get 100 full-resolution photos into the 160MB built-in memory, as well as giving you the dubious pleasure of adding more capacity with a Memory Stick Micro (M2).
The Cyber-shot C902 will be available in Q2 2008, which is spring for those of you who don't speak marketing. It comes in swift black or luscious red. Click through the links to meet the C902's fellow newcomers. -Rich Trenholm

The Sony Ericsson C702 Cyber-shot packs a 3.2-megapixel camera. It's splash- and dust-resistant, and also includes built-in GPS. This allows geotagging, so you can sort and view your photos according to where they were taken.
The Cyber-shot C702 will be available in spring in cyan or speed black -- is this faster than swift black? Maybe we should have a race.
The final Sony Ericsson from Barcelona is the Z770, a clamshell phone aimed at you Interwebs-on-the-go types. It connects via HSDPA and features email-friendly features such as an email set-up wizard and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync to push messages straight to the phone.
The Access NetFront Web browser allows you to pan and zoom around Web sites on the 56mm (2.2-inch) screen. RSS feeds can be chewed up by a widget and spat out on to your desktop or standby screen for easy access.
The Z770 also includes a 2-megapixel camera and FM radio. It will be available in Vogue red, graphite black and exquisite gold from spring.
