Are you a lovesick student who likes 'ROCK AND ROLL' and pizza? Do you follow girls around and take their photo without their permission? You'll love the Galaxy S4, Samsung implies in this slightly alarming new ad.

The video, which is described on YouTube as "Hi Hey Hello, a musical short film", is a weird mashup of feature demo and music video for alt hip-hop duo The Chicharones. Presumably it had to be nearly 5 minutes long because the S4 has more features than RKO.

It shows in great detail how each of the S4's gimmicks is applicable to a modern stalking relationship. Want a photo of you with the object of your affection? Don't bother talking to her! Just surreptitiously snap her in a lecture and Dual Shot will put your drooling slack-jawed mug next to her in a quirky frame.

Why not make a video of her just walking around campus? Then you can watch it when you're supposed to be studying and slip into a lovely reverie of her dancing on a table -- so you can make a Drama Shot, of course.

"We all remember how it feels to fall in love. But times have changed," explains Samsung. "We've become more sophisticated. Our instincts developed. And so has the Samsung Galaxy S4.

"In a playful unraveling of new courtship, the male lead uses the Galaxy S4's unique features such as Dual Shot, Samsung Smart Pause, Drama Shot, Sound & Shot and Air Gesture to attract the girl's attention." That's... that's not what he's doing.

Fortunately he does finally get talking to her at a party, at which he seems to be the least objectionable person by some distance. He's not wearing a bow tie, for one thing.

"Filmed by Grammy Award-winning director, Joseph Kahn, this music video marries love and technology in a way that's relevant to today's youthful mobile culture."

Samsung, you're weird.
