AT&T on Monday confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom will be available starting from November 8. Priced at $199 with a two-year service agreement, the camera-centric smartphone features a 16-megapixel shooter at its core.

Powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the S4 Zoom's camera boasts a 10x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and a Xenon flash. With more than two dozen custom shooting modes, the phone also packs the typical Samsung suite of apps and services.

Aside from the camera features, the Galaxy S4 Zoom offers a mid-range hardware experience; specifications include a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8GB internal storage, and 1.5GB RAM. Additionally, the 4G LTE phone features the standard suite of connectivity such as near-field communication, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

For those not interested in long-term commitments, AT&T will also offer the Samsung smartphone for $25 per month as part of its Next upgrade program.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom joins other Samsung handsets which are eligible for the carrier's current tablet promotion. For a limited time, anyone who buys a select Galaxy phone can also receive a free Galaxy Tab 3 (7-inch) provided it is added to a shared data plan.
