If you want a smart phone but want to avoid unsightly pocket bulges, you could do well to consider O2's slimmed down XDA II mini.

Works fine and serves purpose. Not as cozy as a regular mobile phone but handy as a PDA phone. Hangs occasionally, but a soft reset sorts the problem. A mini flash would have made the cam effective. Overall, i like the piece.

Phone is fantastic. I can Bluetooth with my T5 and Mac flawlessly. Syncs apple address book and iCal easily. The best feature of this phone is its thinness (in your pocket it's unnoticeable). Only complaint I have are the smart keys on the side of the phone. Not necessary.

Sony Ericsson K750i 
 
With a 2-megapixel camera, MP3 playback, FM radio, video recording, Bluetooth, 32MB of internal memory and a 64MB Memory Stick thrown in, Sony Ericsson's K750i might be the hottest phone of 2005. We'll have to wait until Q2 to see it, though.

If you don't care to use your phone as a high-speed wireless modem for your laptop, this is the perfect phone. Otherwise, the Nokia 6230i tops the list. I love the Memory Stick Duo slot! Great for holding lots of MP3s.

The K700i is one of the best phones I've ever had and it works like a dream. I have had Nokias for my whole life and only now is it that i realise that they are only expensive because of their name. The K700i is a great buy.

This model mobile is the best I have owned, I won it at a Rock da Block concert in Perth and it has proven to be a really reliable mobile to me, although I have not yet mastered the MP3 player yet I will get there.

I have owned the D500 for three weeks, and have found it to be high quality and full of great features. Plenty of inbuilt memory means there is little need for removeable storage. Camera & video are good, as is mp3 player. Most of all, call quality is spot-on.

O2's latest PDA/phone-hybrid, the Xda IIs, adds a slide keyboard, Wi-Fi, a quad-band antenna and improved battery life to its predecessor.

I have 3 friends who own Xda IIs PDAs and they all love it. I also wan't to get one but I can't decide between the IIs and mini! But this PDA is the way to go!

Bad GSM Phone - OK PDA when working. I have just sold mine, it wa a terrible phone. I missed lots of calls and found numerous problems with it, for example: 1) It would crash endlessly while roaming. 2) using Wi-Fi and GSM and Bluetooth was impossible. 3) The SIM card does not seat properly causing SIM card missing errors
