Take a look at CNET.com.au's most popular mobile phones for April.
Regular CNET.com.au readers won't be surprised that the number one spot again goes to O2's Xda II Mini -- for the fourth month in a row.
Samsung's one-megapixel camera phone, the D500, enters the chart this month at eighth position -- just below felow MP3-playing mobiles, the Samsung E720 and Motorola E398.
Sony Ericsson's new line of phones for 2005 is gaining momentum, with the K750i -- which we predicted might be the hottest phone of 2005 -- shooting up to third position and the Walkman phone, W800i, entering in at fifth. Will the same happen to Nokia's new N series, which we caught a glimpse of just weeks ago? Our bet is on the Nokia N91 and its 4GB hard disk for storing MP3s and photos.
If you want a smart phone but want to avoid unsightly pocket bulges, you could do well to consider O2's slimmed down XDA II mini.
Reader Opinion Works fine and serves purpose. Not as cozy as a regular mobile phone but handy as a PDA phone. Hangs occasionally, but a soft reset sorts the problem. A mini flash would have made the cam effective. Overall, i like the piece. Read review

The graceful Motorola V3 is the thinnest clamshell to date and a stunningly crafted mobile for style-conscious individuals and professionals alike.
Reader Opinion
Phone is fantastic. I can Bluetooth with my T5 and Mac flawlessly. Syncs apple address book and iCal easily. The best feature of this phone is its thinness (in your pocket it's unnoticeable). Only complaint I have are the smart keys on the side of the phone. Not necessary. Read review | See

With a 2-megapixel camera, MP3 playback, FM radio, video recording, Bluetooth, 32MB of internal memory and a 64MB Memory Stick thrown in, Sony Ericsson's K750i might be the hottest phone of 2005. We'll have to wait until Q2 to see it, though.
Reader Opinion
If you don't care to use your phone as a high-speed wireless modem for your laptop, this is the perfect phone. Otherwise, the Nokia 6230i tops the list. I love the Memory Stick Duo slot! Great for holding lots of MP3s. Read preview | See

Sony Ericsson's K700i is a stylish little phone with a top notch interface and a host of features to keep you entertained while staying connected.
Reader Opinion The K700i is one of the best phones I've ever had and it works like a dream. I have had Nokias for my whole life and only now is it that i realise that they are only expensive because of their name. The K700i is a great buy. Read review | See

Reader Opinion
Omg, it looks so cool and the specs are just awesome! It's not expensive either, compared to other phones with the same specs. Does anyone know when it's out in Scandinacia? Gosh, I'm so gonna buy this one! Read preview | See images | Rate this
Motorola's music mobile combines a full-featured handset that will appeal to a wide range of users whether they're looking for fun, functionality or the perfect mixture of both.
Reader Opinion
This model mobile is the best I have owned, I won it at a Rock da Block concert in Perth and it has proven to be a really reliable mobile to me, although I have not yet mastered the MP3 player yet I will get there. Read review | See

Samsung's latest slider phone, the D500, looks a lot like its sliding predecessor, but comes in a black case with a megapixel camera and an MP3 player.
Reader Opinion I have owned the D500 for three weeks, and have found it to be high quality and full of great features. Plenty of inbuilt memory means there is little need for removeable storage. Camera & video are good, as is mp3 player. Most of all, call quality is spot-on. Read review

O2's latest PDA/phone-hybrid, the Xda IIs, adds a slide keyboard, Wi-Fi, a quad-band antenna and improved battery life to its predecessor.
Reader Opinion I have 3 friends who own Xda IIs PDAs and they all love it. I also wan't to get one but I can't decide between the IIs and mini! But this PDA is the way to go! Read review | See

If you need a smart phone as a business tool, the h6365 is a solid choice. On the other hand, if you're seeking a stylish gadget, you'd do better to look elsewhere.
Reader Opinion Bad GSM Phone - OK PDA when working. I have just sold mine, it wa a terrible phone. I missed lots of calls and found numerous problems with it, for example: 1) It would crash endlessly while roaming. 2) using Wi-Fi and GSM and Bluetooth was impossible. 3) The SIM card does not seat properly causing SIM card missing errors Read review | See
