For Windows Phone fans, the news just keeps getting better. On Thursday, T-Mobile became the third US carrier to commit to the HTC One M8 for Windows , the version of its gorgeous Android handset that runs Windows Phone OS instead of Google's.

Although T-Mobile hasn't released pricing or release dates yet, the carrier did promise to add the phone to its "holiday" lineup -- that means it could drop anytime between now and December (but probably before).

Verizon sells the premium M8 for Windows for $100 on-contract and $600 off. AT&T, like T-Mobile, hasn't announced pricing or availability.

The high-end HTC One M8 for Windows has a 5-inch 1080p HD display, a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and the same dual-imaging 4-Ultrapixel camera found in the standard M8 . It also runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Microsoft's Cortana voice assistant.

T-Mobile customers can't pre-order yet, but can pre-register for upcoming announcements here.
