Business application software company PeopleSoft and PC giant Compaq Computer have entered into an agreement to provide customers with enhanced integration and support services. Compaq will be PeopleSoft's preferred hardware platform provider for PeopleSoft Select, a new program by the business software maker to deliver software, hardware, and services to mid-sized companies with revenues between $50 million and $250 million.
