Short Take: Net ad association to set wireless guidelines
The Internet Advertising Bureau, an online association with about 300 members, plans to set advertising guidelines for the burgeoning wireless market. Leading the task force are representatives from DoubleClick and Phase2Media. Four years ago, the bureau set guidelines for Web advertising banners. The new task force will concentrate on designing specifications for different screen sizes, color displays and sound. The group also will develop traffic measurement guidelines.
