Short Take: GiantLoop signs fiber deal with MFS

GiantLoop Network, a builder and manager of corporate campus fiber-optic networks for large companies, has signed an agreement to lease dark, or un-activated, fiber-optic lines from Metromedia Fiber Network (MFN). The deal is valued at more than $100 million. GiantLoop will use MFN fiber optics to build corporate networks both in the United States and internationally.
