Short Take: Excite@Home launches Excite Germany

Excite@Home, a high-speed Internet access provider, launched Excite Germany Thursday, the latest in the company's international expansion efforts. The German Internet unit, announced last year, will offer mobile phone instant messaging, voice chat, Internet searching and news content. Excite Germany will be folded into Excite Chello when that deal is completed.
