Pluris has raised $53 million toward its fifth round of funding, led by J.P. Morgan Partners, ComVentures and Crescendo Ventures. The company expects to close the round in a couple weeks. Cupertino, Calif.-based Pluris has raised a total of $215 million. The company develops Internet protocol routers, which allow service providers to add capacity incrementally.
