The FuelBand has proven to be a popular device with athletes and users who want to monitor their physical activity. Unveiled in January of last year, the FuelBand could be up for a product refresh. The only cosmetic update it has received has been the option for different colors.
The fitness-tracking segment has heated up with strong competition from the likes of FitBit, which has a number of different products. Samsung's smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear, can serve as a fitness tracker as well.
Even Apple is at it, having introduced its M7 chip in the new iPhone 5S, which essentially makes it an activity tracker too. Nike has been a close ally of Apple's, so the forum could provide some insight into how Nike views its future with the iPhone.
