New Samsung Android flip phone bubbles up with quad-core CPU
Samsung 's Android clamshell lineup develops, this time with a Snapdragon 800 processor.
Samsung looks to be readying yet another quad-core beast of an Android, but with a more olde tyme shape: the humble flip phone.
The third Android-power flip phone to emerge (after the Galaxy Golden and Hennessy), this model was recently spotted online.
Known as the SM-W2014, it looks like it marries the flip phone design with a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Because who doesn't need that much horsepower in the traditional form factor?
This new bird seems to have other high end features as well, if this Tenaa listing page is true. The unnamed Samsung could have a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2GB RAM. It may also share the Galaxy Golden and Hennessy's 3.67-inch 800x48- pixel displays.
Assuming that Samsung doesn't stray from its current modus operandi, this third flipper will probably come only to China.
