While the HTC Excalibur/T-Mobile Dash may be getting more press as the Motorola Q killer, Samsung has a pretty sharp weapon of its own: the Samsung SGH-i607 (a.k.a. BlackJack). It's a quad-band GSM device with support for HSPDA/EDGE networks, and it runs Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone Edition. It's also stacked with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and a Micro SD card slot; not to mention a very nice form factor. Sounds good, right? So when and where can you get it? Well, according to a Howards Forum post, the SGH-i607 should be coming to Cingular in Q3. There's no official confirmation yet and no word on pricing, but we have our feelers out. Stay tuned.
