JVC GR-D650: compact cassette camcorder

While JVC has been heavily pushing its , it certainly hasn't abandoned the cassette camcorder. The JVC GR-D650 is a compact MiniDV camcorder with a 1.3-megapixel sensor and a 15X optical zoom lens. It's the high end of JVC's line of D-series compact camcorders and is the only model in the series with a 1.3-megapixel CCD. The camcorder will be available in Japan in May and will come in silver, pink, and pastel blue "baby" colors. The GR-D650 will be available to Americans in about a month with a suggested retail price of $450 but only in silver.
