HTC Ville C leaked specs reveal cheaper One S with Sense 4.5

New specs confirm details of the rumoured HTC Ville C Android phone, and reveal it will sport a new version of Sense.

HTC is going to town on Android as more details emerge of the HTC Ville, now known as the Ville C. Specs of the rumoured Android phone appear to have been leaked, and it will also apparently sport a new version of Sense.

Brief Mobile is showing off a spec sheet for the Ville C, which reveals the phone to be very similar to the HTC One S. We previously got a look at the HTC Ville in a video leaking the phone's skinny looks, and these specs confirm the 4.3-inch AMOLED screen, 1GB of RAM and 8-megapixel camera.

The Ville C differs from the One S with a Snapdragon S3 processor instead of the more powerful 1.5GHz S4 chip. It's clocked at 1.2GHz according to the source of the leaked specs.

But the Ville C has an ace up its sleeve in the form of Sense 4.5, the next generation of HTC's interface for Android. Sense 4.0, as seen on the One phones, is one of the better front ends for Android, so we're keen to see what 4.5 has in store for us.

Sense 4.0 streamlined the interface with snazzy scrolling menu of thumbnails for your open apps, simplified notifications, launch bar and folders. Press play on our video below to Sense working overtime:

The One S sits pretty in the middle of HTC's new range of One phones. The quad-core HTC One X is the powerhouse of the line, while the HTC One V is the budget option.

HTC announced an affordable Android earlier this week, the HTC Desire C. Could the C suffix be a new naming convention for HTC's lower-specced phones? Despite its more affordable origins, the Desire C includes Beats audio technology and Ice Cream Sandwich.

Is the Ville C a real contender? What would you like to see in Sense 4.5? Tell me your thoughts in the comments or on our Facebook page.
