BlackBerry Z10 owners on AT&T are about to get a long-awaited bump in the OS software running on their phone.

After erroneously posting an update cycle earlier this summer, BlackBerry announced on Tuesday that AT&T's BlackBerry 10.1 OS software update is ready to go.

AT&T will send the update " >over the air. According to BlackBerry, you can also go the old-fashioned route with a USB cable and the BlackBerry software management app. Updates can take up to 30 minutes with this method, BlackBerry warns, so give yourself plenty of time.

BlackBerry OS 10.1 ushers in over a dozen new features, including an HDR camera mode, Skype support, PIN-to-PIN messaging, and other enhancements.

BlackBerry Z10 owners, how do you like the upgrade?
