AT&T announced Monday that it is adding another two dozen markets to its 4G LTE service, which now means its service covers more than 270 million people.
AT&T is continuing to add new markets to its 4G LTE coverage. On Monday the company announced it was expanding the faster wireless data service to more than 20 additional markets. The wireless operator now covers more than 270 million people with the 4G LTE service.
Some of these new markets include Hope, Ark.; Greeley, Colo.; Ames, Iowa; Missoula, Mont.; Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; and Walla Walla, Wash.
The company says it plans to reach more than 300 million customers with this service by the end of 2014. AT&T has been investing a great deal in building out its 4G wireless coverage in the past year. In 2012, the company launched a three-year investment plan to build out the higher speed network and improve reliability. Since then, the company has been aggressively building out its network.
The company claims to have the fastest and most reliable 4G LTE network in the country.
