Love that new "patent-pending" MagSafe feature on the new MacBook Pro laptops--a magnetic connector that keeps a yanked power cord from turning the laptop into a projectile. But News.com points out that it ain't all that new. In fact, it's a time-honored feature of deep fryers and fondue pots. Delicious.
