Despite the fact that Nvidia is keeping mum about which devices will feature its Tegra 3 processor at Mobile World Conference, a recent leak suggests that a new high-end LG phone may be in for consideration.

According to MoDaCo.com, the LG X3 is slated to appear at MWC sporting a 4.7-inch HD screen, a 2000 mAh battery, and (most impressively) a quad-core processor.

At CNET, we've been hearing the phrase "quad-core processor" for phones a lot, so much so that we were expecting a hoard of them at CES 2012. But all we've seen of the chip so far has come in tablet form, like the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime.

There are the occasional HTC One X quad-core murmurs (previously known as the HTC Endeavor, HTC Supreme, and HTC Edge) as well, but when it comes to phones, that's pretty much all we've heard from the Tegra 3 rumor mill.

That's why we're pretty excited to read about the LG X3. Aside from its 1.4GHz four Cortex-A9 CPU, it is also reported to have an 8-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of internal memory, and will run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

And as these leaked benchmark speeds show, the device is looking fast, clocking in at an impressive 4,412 points on new Quadrant.

So what do you guys think? Will you be lining up to snag the blazing LG X3?
