CTIA 2009 phones: Where are they now?

Journey back to CTIA 2009 to see how phones introduced at that show have fared in the real world.

As we approach another CTIA, it's time to travel back a year ago to the wireless extravaganza that was CTIA 2009. Back then, we named two phones, one accessory, and one software title as the top products from that show. Now that they've had several months to face consumers, we're comparing our initial impressions with our final assessments.

Of the 12 products we're revisiting (four "Best of show" picks, plus a few notable extras that made their debuts), we've had the chance to review all but one. That's a pretty good record in any year, though the 2009 CTIA was particularly sleepy. Fortunately, we expect a bit more excitement as we head back to Las Vegas for the 2010 event (4G phones anyone?). The fun begins March 23 so check our complete CTIA coverage often to see what's going down in Sin City. And for a taste of what's to come, read our CTIA preview.
