Buffalo's LinkStation goes Mediabolic

CNET staff
Like Buffalo's new , the LinkStation external hard drive has had a Mediabolic makeover, making the LinkStation Home Server DLNA compliant. Mediabolic's NAS Media Server software allows the NAS drive to serve up a variety of audio and video content to other DLNA-compliant digital media servers on the network. The drive is Windows compatible and includes a built-in USB print server for sharing a network printer, a file server for file sharing, and an FTP server for remote file sharing. The drives come in two capacities--300GB ($399) and 400GB ($549)--and should be available at the end of January.
