>> Jaguar needs help and this could be it. The new XF will replace the S type with a completely different idea. Where the S was dripping in traditional Jaguar queue's and kind of a fuddy-duddiness, the XF takes on more upscale cars, a four door coupe is the concept here. Think maybe a more affordable Porsche PanAmera. Here's the slick Jaguar drive selector, that evicts the J gate that you either loved or hated in automatic Jags until now. It connects to a six speed auto. Like the shifter, the ventilation nozzles awaken and appear when you fire the key. We love the touch screen interface and its information layout. And we'll appreciate the array of iPod, USB and AUX in jacks and that can be coupled to an available four hundred and forty watt Bowers and Wilkins audio system. Look for Blue Tooth of course and Sirius. Engine choices could range from a twin turbo two point seven liter V6 that I doubt will get in the US. Instead look for the nice four point two V8 that Jaguar's done so well with, maybe even a super charged version when this car arrives in March '08.
