Lenovo Smart Display with Google Assistant
Google takes on the Echo Show with four new smart displays. These Google Assistant-enabled touchscreens are made for your kitchen countertop and will compete against Amazon's Echo Show.
Heatworks Tetra dishwasher
Heatworks and Frog Design have collaborated on Tetra, a compact, connected dishwasher with 10-minute, half-gallon cycles.
LG Smart Instaview refrigerator
In addition to accessing Alexa and tracking groceries on the semi-translucent touchscreen, the InstaView ThinQ refrigerator will now act as quarterback for your entire connected kitchen.
Sengled Element Color Plus
The Sengled Element Color Plus LED is a $35 smart bulb that changes colors and syncs with both Alexa and Google Assistant.
Whirlpool Smart Microwave
Whirlpool's internet-connected microwave, which also has touchscreen controls, works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Whirlpool Smart Front Control Range
Whirlpool's Smart Front-Control Range, along with other select large appliances, will work with voice-activated Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
Whirlpool Smart All-In-One Care Washer and Dryer
Large appliance manufacturer Whirlpool introduced its $1,599 Smart All-In-One Care Washer and Dryer at CES last year (roughly £1,180 and AU$2,035 converted). Now it's adding official support for Alexa, Amazon's voice assistant, as well as the Apple Watch.
Fibaro Wall Plug
Fibaro showcased a smart plug that can shut off your devices or flash a warning if they use too much power.
Brinks Array Smart Deadbolt
The new Array Smart Deadbolt from Brinks includes Wi-Fi connectivity, Amazon Alexa compatibility and 100 e-Codes for guests.
Yummly app and Whirlpool connected appliances
The Yummly app uses your phone's camera to identify food and ingredients. It will then send recipes and cooking instructions to compatible Whirlpool ovens and microwaves.
Insteon Hub and Google Assistant
Hub maker and smart home platform Insteon is adding support for Google. With a voice command to your Google Home, Google Pixel or any other device equipped with Google Assistant, you can control your Insteon lights, switches, outlets, plugs and more.
Hunter Advocate smart fan
Hunter's connected fans just completed the trifecta of major voice assistants. You could already control them with Apple's Siri and Amazon's Alexa. At CES, Hunter has just announced integration with Google's digital assistant (simply called Google Assistant).
Canary View indoor home security camera
Security camera startup Canary says its new View indoor home security camera borrows features from its inaugural $169 all-in-one device, but cuts the price to a more affordable $99 (roughly £75 and AU$125 converted). The View camera is available on Canary's site now and is expected to hit major retailers later this month.
SkyBell Plug-in Camera
The SkyBell Plug-In camera attaches directly to any wall outlet for power. That also means it's pretty easy to move around the house (without having to worry about battery life).
Honeywell Lyric T5 Smart Thermostats
Whirlpool announced a new partnership with thermostat maker Honeywell. Honeywell's line of smart thermostats will be integrated into a select number of smart Whirlpool appliances in 2018. Additionally, Whirlpool said this integration would eventually reach over two dozen appliances.
Orbit B-hyve Smart Hose Faucet Timer
Orbit's new B-hyve Smart Hose Faucet Timer attaches to the other end of the hose, and lets you control your sprinkler with an app.
iHome iGV1 alarm clock
The iHome iGV1 alarm clock is part Bluetooth speaker, and part Google Home smart speaker.
iHome iAV5 Echo Dot dock
The iHome iAV5 is a battery-powered speaker dock for the Amazon Echo Dot that can change colors in rhythm with your music.
Elmer Smart Shower
The Elmer Smart Shower plays your music in surround sound while you bathe. You can also control it with voice commands through Alexa. To top things off, it'll even spray essential oils on you if you want a more fragrant clean.
Sensio Air allergen tracker
It looks like a small, bronze submarine, but the Sensio Air wants to be the silver bullet allergy sufferers need before they go outside. It's an allergen tracker that works with an app and sensors placed in various cities to learn what makes your allergies act up, and predict when you'll need to be on guard.
Hanwha Techwin America N1 and N2
Hanwha Techwin America had two new security cameras on display, the N1 and N2. Both cameras offer local storage via microSD card slot, as well as optional cloud storage. Hanwha Techwin America says the two indoor cams will also work with the Amazon Echo Show starting this spring.
Aladin smart light
With multiple motion detectors inside of the fixture, the Aladin can light the way for anyone getting up in the middle of the night. If they should fall, the device can send their loved ones a notification telling them that they need help.
Cocoon Cam Clarity baby monitor
Cocoon Cam's Clarity baby monitor deviates from traditional security cameras. At $299, roughly £220/AU$380 converted, the Clarity monitor is priced to compete with the Owlet and Netgear's Arlo Baby. It will be available for sale in the second half of 2018.
Samsung VL5 speaker
The stylish looking Samsung VL5 speaker features a puck-like magnetic knob that works in a similar way to the Microsoft Surface Dial to control volume. The puck will stick to any magnetic surface and control the volume via a slick dial. The speaker will also feature Wi-Fi connectivity and be controlled with the SmartThings app.
D-Link DCH-212KT Wire-free Full HD Indoor/Outdoor Camera Kit
D-Link's DCH-212KT Wire-free Full HD Indoor/Outdoor Camera Kit will be available in Q2 and cost $350 (roughly £260/AU$450 converted). For your money, you get two rechargeable-battery-powered indoor/outdoor cameras and a hub with local internal storage.
