The purchase will add all of Live Connected's 25,000 users to Vaya, creating a subscriber base of around 70,000.

Vaya has confirmed that it will move Live Connected's operations from Sydney to Queensland but otherwise the shift should not impact Live Connected's users in anyway.

Speaking to Whistleout, Vaya CEO Ben Pullen said the company wanted "to combine the best of both businesses so it's a win for customers on both brands".

Vaya, like Live Connected, resells service on the Optus network. It recently added 4G coverage to its consumer offering.
