UTStarcom recently unveiled the T66, the company's brand-new dual-mode handset that can run on both CDMA and GSM networks. Additionally, it can be on standby on both networks simultaneously, so you can choose either mode at any time without having to turn the phone off and on. The T66 is stated to have two 2.6-inch color screens, a 1.3-megapixel camera, video recording, a music player, and a Micro SD card slot.

One of the first companies out of the gate with the T66 is China Unicom's World Wind dual-mode mobile service that enables users to switch between CDMA and GSM. It seems that it's available only in Asia at this time, and there are no signs that it'll make it the U.S. market. We'll let you know if it does.
