Toshiba's gaming laptop: the Satellite P105-S921
Otherwise, the Satellite P105-S921 is packing an Intel Core Duo T2400 processor, a 160GB SATA hard drive, a miniature remote, the wacky/ingenious dual-mode touch pad that we first saw on the Qosmio G35-AV600 and--hooray!--LED lights. The Satellite P105 series includes two other models as well, the P105-S6014 and the P105-S6004, which are more entertainment focused (read: Windows Media Center) and less game focused (read: integrated graphics).
Other Toshiba updates...
The Satellite M105 series, which supplants the Satellite M50/M55 series, features a 14.1-inch display, weighs in at 5.5 pounds, and starts at $1,149, with biometric security included on higher-end models.
The Satellite A105, starting at $899, also gets some new features and components, including the dual-mode touch pad and Toshiba's Express Media Player, which lets you play CDs, DVDs, and other digital media without bothering to boot up Windows.
We're expecting our Satellite P105 to come in the mail next week, so be on the lookout for our review a few days after that. All of Toshiba's new models are expected to begin shipping on April 2, 2006.
