Time Warner Telecom names chairman
Optical network and services provider Time Warner Telecom said Tuesday it had named Chief Executive Larissa Herda to the additional post of chairman. She succeeds Glenn Britt, who will remain on the company's board. The company also said it had agreed to extend for two years, until 2004, its pact with AOL Time Warner to use the Time Warner brand name. Time Warner Telecom and AOL Time Warner have an option to extend the agreement for additional periods. Time Warner Telecom is 44 percent owned by AOL Time Warner.
