The Sanyo Katana

The trend of the skinny phone just keeps on going, and the newest member of the meme is this hot, new, yet-to-be-released Sanyo Katana. Also dubbed the Sanyo 6600, rumors are that it'll sport a VGA camera, Bluetooth, and a 2.2-inch QVGA display and that Sprint will be the lone carrier to offer it thus far. Word is that it'll be offered in various colors, much like the original skinny fashion phone, the . We hear it won't have EV-DO support, thus it won't support Sprint's 3G Power Vision network, but the Sanyo Katana is probably more of a midtier phone anyway. No word on pricing and availability yet, of course, but we're definitely keeping an eye on this one.
