Sprint woos Java developers

Sprint unveiled a kit Wednesday that lets Java programmers create new games or other software programs that could be sold to Sprint cell phone users. The so-called "developers kit" is one of about a dozen released in the last three days during the JavaOne Conference in San Francisco. Other companies that have released developers kits include Nokia and Motorola.
