Sprint signs NOCpulse for monitoring

Sprint's Web hosting and Internet services division has signed on start-up NOCpulse to monitor the performance of its customers' Internet sites and e-commerce activities. NOCpulse is one of a new generation of Net services companies aimed at improving performance of Web sites in ways that in-house technical staff are unable to do. The start-up's offerings allow the various components of a Web site's technical infrastructure to be monitored remotely through a Web browser. The companies did not release financial details of the relationship, but said the deal was not exclusive.
