Short Take: Williams to buy wholesale DSL from Rhythms

Williams Communications, a wholesale telecommunications carrier, will begin offering digital subscriber lines (DSL) from Rhythms NetConnections to its service provider customers during the fourth quarter of 1999. The companies are expected to sign a future contract under which Williams would provide services to Rhythms, a national high-speed Internet access technology provider.
