Short Take: IVI to offer IPO on the Net

High-speed ISP Internet Ventures and Direct Stock Market have joined together to sell shares of IVI's common stock from its IPO on both IVI's and on the Direct Stock Market's Web site. Direct Stock Market's Web site offers a marketplace for small, publicly traded companies attempting to raise capital. IVI previously used the Direct Stock Market to generate private funding.
