Short Take: ISP Channel gains access to Puerto Rican homes

ISP Channel, SoftNet Systems' high-speed data-over-cable service, has signed a distribution deal to reach Puerto Rican customers served by Pegasus Communications. Under the agreement, ISP channel will market broadband Internet access to 170,000 homes capable of receiving the service through Pegasus, a cable television operator. In addition to its existing deals in Puerto Rico, ISP Channel now has access to about half the island's population.
