Short Take: EarthLink deploys DSL

EarthLink, an Internet service provider, has deployed high-speed digital subscriber line (DSL) service in four markets and plans to offer the broadband Net access service in four additional markets by year-end. The EarthLink Sprint DSL Internet service is available in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Charlotte, North Carolina, with deployments scheduled for Minneapolis, Boston, San Francisco, and San Diego during the fourth quarter. Pricing starts at $49.95 per month.
