Short Take: AT&T VP joins Benchmark

Pushpendra Mohta, a former AT&T vice president, has joined Benchmark Capital as an entrepreneur-in-residence. Mohta was instrumental in merging CERFNet, IBM and British Telecommunications networks with Ma Bell's existing operations over the last several years. He also helped launch AT&T's Web Hosting, high-speed Internet and its Internet protocol network planning.
