Short Take: AT&T renames MediaOne markets

AT&T, which completed its acquisition of cable operator MediaOne Group in June, has officially changed the name of its services to AT&T Broadband in most former MediaOne markets. Atlanta, Boston, Cleveland and several markets in California and Florida are among the largest cities to be affected. Additionally, AT&T Cable Services, Ma Bell's cable TV and Internet unit, will change its name to AT&T Broadband nationwide.
