Short Take: AOL names new chief financial officer

has named J. Michael Kelly senior vice president and CFO. Kelly joins AOL from GTE, where he was executive vice president for finance and planning, as well as CFO. Kelly will oversee all of AOL's finance functions, including tax, investor relations, financial planning, treasury, and accounting. He succeeds Lennert Leader, who had been the company's CFO since 1989. Leader is now president of AOL Investments.
