Short Take: Alcatel to sell Cabletron DSL router

Cabletron Systems announced that European telecommunications equipment giant Alcatel will sell the company's digital subscriber line routing device. The equipment will be sold as part of Alcatel's Speed Touch product family. Cabletron's ADSL SmartSwitch Router 250 is based on technology the company acquired from FlowPoint last year.
