Samsung Galaxy S5 hops on Boost, Virgin Mobile for $600

The quad-core smartphone with its 16-megapixel camera and heart-rate sensor joins Sprint's prepaid brands.

If prepaid is the name of your game, you'll be happy to know that as of Monday, Sprint has added the Samsung Galaxy S5 to its Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile prepaid networks.

The top-its-class Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone will cost $600 off-contract and will ride the enhanced LTE network for Virgin and Boost, called Spark when applied to parent network Sprint.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a 5.1-inch 1080p HD display, a blazing-face quad-core processor, and an excellent 16-megapixel camera. Check out CNET's full Galaxy S5 review here.
