RIM scores deal with NBA

Research In Motion said Wednesday that employees of the National Basketball Association are using wireless BlackBerry handheld devices to access scores and statistics.

"The ability to have immediate e-mail access on your hip has caused the league to migrate to BlackBerry," said Steve Hellmuth, the sports league's senior vice president of operations and technology.
