Nigerian e-mail scam turns deadly?

So, the Nigerian e-mail scam is well-known as one of the most effective in Internet history. But the (via BoingBoing) has a story suggesting that a record producer may actually have been killed after becoming entangled in the scam ring. Seriously? The spam industry is the new Bad Guy. And it's scary.
