Mobile phones are a ubiquitous part of a modern life. Most people will own several phones before leaving high school and will own several again in the years that follow. Mobile phones, like all areas of technology, are becoming more complex by the day. With this added complexity comes a new language to learn, and new skills to master.

In this Learning Centre feature, we'll walk you through the decision making process essential to buying a new mobile device, then walk you through your first day with your new mobile phone, helping you to set up important new features, like email and the web browser. In most cases these tasks are completed by the mobile operators before you leave the store, but in some cases you will need to know how to dig into your phone's menus and sort things out for yourself.
