Reports in the media that there's a problem with the MS05-051 patch are greatly overblown, according to Microsoft and others. Because of the inaccuracies, the software giant has posted detailing the specific circumstances under which a few users have experienced diffciulties after applying the patch. The patch, MS05-051 vulnerabilities in MSDTC and COM+ could allow remote code execution, is rated Critical by Microsoft and should be applied immediately by users running Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 versions of the Windows operating system.
