Instagram's live video update rolling out across the US

The app's new feature lets you broadcast video but doesn't save them for viewing later.

Instagram's live video feature is rolling out just in time to capture your family holiday extravaganza.

The company, which is owned by social networking giant Facebook, is releasing the feature to all US users starting Monday.

Live videos, announced last month, is similar to Facebook Live and Twitter's Periscope in that it lets you broadcast live videos to your followers. But it differs in one key way: you can't save videos to watch or share them again later. Instead, they disappear as soon as you're done broadcasting.
