Following some earlier purported leaks, we may have just been given another early look at the Google Pixel ahead of the October 4 event. The image comes via a tweet from noted leaker @evleaks, and shows off the new phone in blue and silver.

The Pixel and Pixel XL are the first phones in Google's new line, after word spread that it was moving away from the Nexus series.

According to an earlier leak by Carphone Warehouse (noticed by 9to5 Google), the 5-inch Pixel and 5.5-inch Pixel XL will be similar offerings. Both versions will pack in a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of memory, 32GB or 128GB of storage and a Gorilla Glass 4 AMOLED display. And, it feels like I say this a lot, it's all wrapped inside a curved-edge metal case remarkably similar to the iPhone.

Do note this is all conjecture still, and we'll have a much better idea of what to expect from Google's new phones following the event.
