T-Mobile really wants you to break up with your current carrier. So much it's even going to help you write a breakup letter.
There's no question John Legere and team have done a tremendous job with helping to change and reshape the wireless industry as we once knew it. During CES, T-Mobile announced as part of it's Uncarrier movement, Uncarrier Part 4 to be exact, that it would start paying early termination fees for customers currently under contract with another carrier.
A brilliant marketing campaign has followed, with T-Mobile offering to help you "break up" with your carrier. If you're on Twitter and follow Legere, then you have seen the amount of photos he retweets from various customers and retail locations showing breakup letters and happy (new) customers.
For those who recently switched carriers, or who plan on breaking up with your current wireless provider, T-Mobile has made it easy to print out or share the breakup letter across your social networks.
The only thing you'll need to do is select the wording you'd like the letter to contain, then sign your name.
The letter itself isn't truly mailed to your carrier, unless you decide to include it with your final payment. Instead, it's more of a symbolic gesture which T-Mobile hopes will catch on as more people take a stand against competing wireless providers.
